The kiss of the Saaz Hop

18 May 2012: That little green thing is potent. It smells like baby poo mixed with horse shit. That little green thing is a Saaz Hop, one of the ingredients used to make beer. These little guys are imported because our climatic conditions aren't suitable in South Africa. And I have one! Apparantly, this little guy is also family of the infamous Cannibus... doesn't have the same effect though - so I've heard! LOL.

18 May 2012: That afternoon (as if the day couldn't have gone any better), a few colleagues and I headed of to SAB for the Castle Lager Brewery Tour. I must say... I learned a lot about beer and all the talk of the process of how it's made made me wanna try my own beer...

16 May 2012: I like walking... it's good exercise because on this particular walk back to work after dropping my car off for her service at VW, I worked up a good sweat! Apparantly, the more often you work out, the more easily the sweating comes. Only crap thing is, I need a shower.

16 May 2012: My car's windscreen is so dirty on the inside, I can almost NOT see anything! So glad I'm taking my car for service today, that means she'll get a good clean too :)

13 May 2012: Yeah so I had this piece of lace in my hand and my granny comes up to me asking what it is. And she's like, "Oooooooh, dis kant! Dis mooi kant!" and I'm like "What- kint?" And she stressed, "Kant, kant, KANT!" ... needless to say, this moment was followed with numerous jokes about a kant, LMAO! Definitely one of those moments where you had to be there.

Martha's day at my mother's
