Secret Santa

15 December 2011: It was our end of year function at the Sugar Hut Club in Cape Town (next to Charly's Bakery) and we usually do Secret Santa. This time I drew Faith and she said she wanted a jazz CD, so I got her the safest bet - The Best of Kenny G! I got a gift from Rouleaux - some nice Earl Gray tea and the best ever vanilla flavoured white chocolate-coated almonds, dusted with icing sugar... lovely :)

Monopolisation

11 December 2011: After a lovely Sunday afternoon braai with Harvey, Arlene (my sis) and Marc - the boys decided they wanted some Modern Warfare time. But we wanted to play Monopoly but needed cash to buy the boardgame - so Harvey gingerly offered up his credit card in a deperate attempt to get that game time... I'm not gonna complain! So my sis and I headed off to the mall to get the boardgame and we went window shopping... and shopping (LOL). When we got back, we gathered around the table and played a loooooong game of intense Monopoly. Love it! We didn't finish the game but I know I won. Naturally.
