19 May 2011: I drive past these homeless people living under the N2 bridge next to the N1 in Cape Town. I feel so sorry for them but it fascinates me how they seem so happy... brushing their teeth, getting dressed and ready to find work (possibly)... or beg for money, I don't know. It's so sad though - sometimes I wanna make a whole lotta sandwiches and just leave it there, but I won't because that would only solve the current situation, not long-term... they would feel someone is always looking out for them, they'd always come back for more and not feel compelled to get out of the situation they are in. So it's catch 22. What to do? Any ideas? Shall I inform the council and demand they do something about it?
