10 May 2011: Started reading Men are from Mars Women are from Venus (by John Gray) again. It's amazing how this little resource can totally transform your relationships, your life! One thing I will take from this book is that men are like rubber bands (once they've fulfilled their intimacy level they pull away like a rubber band, but eventually they come back with more love to give) and women are like waves (they reach emotional highs and lows and all they need during the time they're stuck in the well is support and understanding - she needs to reach rock bottom before she can climb up again). I'm looking forward to putting this new understanding into practice.
